What are the benefits of the Morales Method?

Morales Method® Core Integration or MMCI is a newly modified version of Structural Integration created by Marty Morales, Advanced Certified Rolfer. Each session focuses on a specific part of the body to create cumulative benefits over the course of 9 sessions. In addition, each part of the body is worked in a specific sequence that seeks to bring things back to basics by reinforcing the natural neural-motor connections that were formed as an infant.

About Julie Gudaitis

Julie Gudaitis

“I feel very lucky to be a massage therapist. I finished massage school in the spring of 2007 in Bloomington, IN. I had a thriving practice there for six years before moving to South Lake Tahoe. I combine my love of movement with my love of helping people.

Over the years I’ve focused my education on areas that I think will help my clients the most. After being a therapist for almost ten years, I’m tired of seeing my clients come back month after month with the same issues. This is what pushed me to learn Morales Method® Core Integration.

The series of 9 sessions addresses compensation patterns and seeks to find a solution to balance out the body as a whole. It’s typically much more efficient than an hour massage where we try to ease discomfort. No matter what, I try to meet you where you’re at to give you the massage or bodywork session that best benefits you, whether you need an hour to relax and zone out, or an hour of focused deep work to facilitate healing.” – Julie Gudaitis

"Julie is a wonderful massage therapist and delightful person. I have been going to Julie for a few years on a regular basis. She gives a great deep tissue massage working out all my sore muscles. Each massage is different as she customizes each session to fit my body's specific needs that day. Julie has a way of finding all my sore muscles and working them out leaving me felling so relaxed I never want to leave the table. Tonight was my first session at her new office on Harrison avenue. It's a great location with easy off street parking. Julie's office is clean, private and relaxing. I can't wait for my next visit." - N.P.
"The girl knows her stuff." -T.S.
"Julie is a great massage therapist. She has helped me with many different issues from my upper back being locked up to my shoulders being rolled in due to stress and the many sports I played. I really like how she is so knowledgeable about the body and how she uses structural integration into the massage. Being a Chiropractor I get adjusted but know that the muscles play a huge part in our body. I would recommend her to anyone who wants to get a awesome massage." -C.P.
"Julie always takes the time to ask what's been going on physically, work-wise, etc. She adjusts the focus of her massage to that day's particular need. An effective and enjoyable session every time." -R.G.
"I am so jealous that the good people of Tahoe will get the chance to work with Julie, who is not only the BEST massage therapist on earth but also just an AMAZING person." A.H.
"I recently finished a structural integration series with Julie and was very excited after she received her certification as it's something I've always wanted to try. Acupuncture, chiropractic, physical therapy and massage therapy have only given me temporary relief. I've even had several injections (epidurals, blocks, etc) with no results. After the first few sessions of our SI series, there was a noticeable difference in not only my pain, but in my life. I was sitting/standing more upright, I was breathing easier, sleeping better, I wasn't in such a fog from pain, I was interested again in social life after work, etc.. it was a revelation. As simple as it sounds, she studies how you walk and can see exactly what needs to be worked on, not just in the massage studio, but for you to work on yourself. My job is very demanding physically, where I'm on my feet in a workshop full-time and by no means does this help with chronic pain, but having someone you can trust to assist your healing is incredible. She's very accommodating, quick to respond and can sometimes get you in, in a pinch (literally). Always a pleasure to be around, I'll continue to see Julie for years to come!" -T.G.
